Biography
Perry M. Rein, also credited as Perry Rein, is an American television writer and producer. He has worked extensively in sitcoms, often in collaboration with writing partner Gigi McCreery.
Rein contributed to Friends (1994) as a writer, teleplay author and executive story editor across seasons five and six, also serving as co-producer on twenty-five episodes. The pair later wrote and produced for Wizards of Waverly Place (2007), earning a Primetime Emmy Award in 2012 as part of the producing and writing team. Other credits include episodes of Becker, Yes, Dear, Married to the Kellys, Haters Back Off (where they served as showrunners), Raven's Home and Knight Squad.
Rein holds a BA and an MA in radio and television from Northwestern University.
