Biography

Peter B. Germano (1913–1983) was an American author and screenwriter. He began writing short stories in the 1930s and served as a combat correspondent for the Marines during the Second World War. He later published numerous western novels, many under pseudonyms including Barry Cord, and also wrote science fiction.

Germano wrote scripts for many television series from the 1950s onwards. His credits include episodes of The Rifleman (1958), Wagon Train (1961–1964), The Fugitive (1963–1964), The Time Tunnel (1966) and Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (1967). He was married to Muriel Clara Garant, with whom he collaborated on some projects.
