Biography
Peter D. Beyt is a television editor whose credits include the ABC sitcom Better Off Ted (2009). He has worked on numerous comedy series since the late 1980s.
Beyt began his career editing documentaries, commercials and music videos after film school. He was hired in 1988 to edit The Golden Girls and later directed episodes of that series and The Golden Palace. His subsequent editing credits include Will & Grace, The Exes, According to Jim, Living with Fran and Malibu Country.
He won a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Multi-Camera Picture Editing for a Comedy Series for the Will & Grace episode "Grandpa Jack" (2018) and received further nominations for the series.
