Biography
Peter Brandt is a Danish film and television editor. He began his career editing commercials and music videos in Denmark before training at the National Danish Film School from 2003.
His feature debut, Reconstruction (2003), directed by Christoffer Boe, won the Caméra d’Or at Cannes, the Robert Award for Best Editing and the Young Cinema Award at Venice. Subsequent credits include the BAFTA-winning series Borgen (2010), When Animals Dream (2014), the Antboy films (2013–2016), April 9th (2015) and War Sailor (2022).
Brandt has also edited numerous commercials and music videos, and has been represented by Work Editorial and Rock Paper Scissors in the US and UK.
