Biography
Peter Briggs is an English screenwriter and former cinematographer. Born on 12 December 1965 in Whiston, Merseyside, he began his career in the film industry as an assistant cameraman before transitioning to writing.
In 1991 he sold his spec screenplay for Alien vs. Predator to 20th Century Fox. He received screen story credit, shared with Guillermo del Toro, on the 2004 film Hellboy. Briggs has contributed material to projects for studios including Touchstone Pictures, New Line Cinema and Miramax, and wrote an episode of the television series Thunderbirds Are Go (2015). He is the brother of writer Andy Briggs.
