Biography
Peter Chinn is a director and producer specialising in factual documentaries. He has directed episodes of the animated series Family Guy (1999) and multiple programmes for the long-running science series NOVA (1974), including episodes broadcast between 2005 and 2021.
Chinn read Politics, Philosophy and Economics at Oxford University from 1992 to 1995. His directing credits include How the Earth Was Made (2007), How the Universe Works (2010), Inside the Court of Henry VIII (2015), Can Science Make Me Perfect? With Alice Roberts (2018) and Stonehenge: The Lost Circle Revealed (2021). He has also worked as a series producer and edit producer on projects for the BBC, National Geographic and Discovery.
His films have received awards and nominations, including recognition at the International Emmy Awards, Wildscreen Festival and New York Festivals.
