Biography
Peter De Neergaard is a Danish production designer and scenographer. He was born on 29 September 1953 and trained as a scenographer at Statens Teaterskole between 1979 and 1985.
He began working in theatre and action theatre in the 1970s with Teatergruppen Solvognen before debuting as a scenographer in 1986. De Neergaard has served as production designer or art director on more than thirty Danish feature films, including Bleeder (1999), Fear X (2003), Headhunter (2009) and Murk (2005), as well as the television series The Bridge (2015, season 3).
Der var engang en dreng – som fik en lillesøster med vinger (2006) received a Robert Award for best scenography. He has also contributed to other series such as Nynne and The Sommerdahl Murders.
