Biography

Peter R. Adam was a German film editor. Born Peter Adam on 29 May 1957 in Pirmasens, he began his career as a sound engineer before moving into editing. He worked on films including An American Werewolf in Paris (1997), Good Bye, Lenin! (2003) and Anonymous (2011).

Adam won the German Film Award for editing on Comedian Harmonists (1997), Good Bye, Lenin! (2003) and Anonymous (2011). He was a founding member of the Deutsche Filmakademie and died in Berlin on 4 December 2023.
