Biography
Peter Rader is an American screenwriter, director and producer. He wrote the original screenplay for the 1995 film Waterworld and received story credit on The Last Legion (2007). As a director, his credits include Grandmother's House (1988) and Hired to Kill (1990), as well as the 1995 television film Escape to Witch Mountain.
Rader graduated magna cum laude from Harvard University. He has also written the biographies Mike Wallace: A Life (St. Martin’s Press, 2012) and Playing to the Gods (Simon & Schuster, 2018).
