Biography
Peter Sasdy is a British film and television director. Born in Budapest, Hungary, he has directed numerous television series and several horror films for Hammer.
His credits include episodes of the series Callan (1967) and the Nigel Kneale-scripted television play The Stone Tape (1972). For Hammer he directed Taste the Blood of Dracula (1970), Countess Dracula (1971) and Hands of the Ripper (1971). He also directed The Lonely Lady (1983), for which he received a Razzie Award for Best Director, and the Thames Television series The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾ (1985–1987).
