Biography
Peter Shin is an American animator, director and producer. He has served as supervising director on the animated series Family Guy (1999–present) and directed its first episode, 'Death Has a Shadow', as well as later episodes including 'Emission Impossible', 'North by North Quahog', 'It's a Trap!' and 'The Simpsons Guy'.
Shin directed the Family Guy film Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story (2005) and the television film Big Bug Man (2006). He directed episodes of Duckman (1994) and Freakazoid! (1995), and worked as a character layout artist and timing director on The Simpsons (1993–1995). He won an Annie Award for directing the Family Guy episode 'North by North Quahog' and has received several Emmy Award nominations.
