Biography
Peter Syvertsen is an American actor and writer. Born on 14 August 1953, he began his professional career in Chicago theatre, where he co-directed a production of Harold Pinter's The Birthday Party at the Court Theatre and received a 1979 Joseph Jefferson Citation for Director of a Play.
Syvertsen has appeared in supporting roles in numerous films and television productions. His credits include FBI Agent Freemont in A Simple Plan (1998), President Fletcher in Dear White People (2014), a paramedic in The Mighty Ducks (1992), and smaller parts in Jingle All the Way (1996), Joe Somebody (2001) and Best Man Down (2012). He has also written for short films.
