Biography
Peter Y. Kim is a Korean American actor, producer and director based in New York City. He holds a BFA from New York University and an MFA from the Yale School of Drama. He made his feature film debut in Hackers (1995) and has appeared in films including Sex and the City (2008), Margin Call (2011), The Forty-Year-Old Version (2020) as Archie, and Bros (2022).
On stage, Kim has performed on Broadway in the Tony-winning musical Thoroughly Modern Millie and starred in Wild Goose Dreams at the Public Theater. He originated roles in numerous Off-Broadway and regional premieres, and co-created the Off-Broadway comedy SIDES: The Fear is Real.... He is a founding member of Mr. Miyagi's Theatre Company and has served as associate or creative producer for the National Asian American Theatre Company (NAATCO), which has received OBIE awards. Kim has taught at Princeton University and received the Lilah Kan Red Socks Award.
