Biography
Petr Jákl is a Czech actor, director, producer and former stuntman. Born on 14 September 1973 in Prague, he competed as a judoka, representing the Czech Republic at the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and winning multiple national titles. He entered the film industry in the early 1990s, initially working as an actor and stuntman in Czech productions before appearing in international films.
His acting credits include roles in xXx (2002) as Kolya, Bad Company (2002) as Darius, EuroTrip (2004) as Gunter, AVP: Alien vs. Predator (2004) as Stone, Pterodactyl (2004) as Tezo and Bathory: Countess of Blood (2008) as the Bald Hunchback. He has also appeared in television series such as Borgia.
Jákl made his directorial debut with the thriller Kajínek (2010), which he also wrote and produced. He subsequently directed the horror film Ghoul (2015) and the historical action drama Medieval (2022). He continues to work as a producer on international projects.
