Biography
Phil Dunning, also credited as Phillip Dunning, is an English actor, writer and character comedian. He was born and raised in Stockton-on-Tees, Teesside, in the North East of England.
His television credits include the role of Professor Spink in the series Feel Good (2020), Frankie in The Other One (2022), Gavin in Am I Being Unreasonable? (2022), and the lead role of Dickie in Smoggie Queens (2024), which he created and wrote. He has also appeared in Boat Story (2023) and Juice (2025).
Dunning has performed solo shows at the Edinburgh Fringe and received multiple BAFTA Television Award nominations for his work on Smoggie Queens.
