Biography
Phil Feldman was an American film producer. He produced The Wild Bunch (1969), directed by Sam Peckinpah, and served as executive producer on The Ballad of Cable Hogue (1970). His other producing credits include You're a Big Boy Now (1966), The Toy (1982) and Stewardess School (1986), and he was executive producer on Blue Thunder (1983).
Feldman trained as a lawyer, graduating from Harvard and Georgetown universities and Harvard Law School. He served as a first lieutenant in the US Army during the Second World War. Before producing films he worked as legal counsel to Famous Artists Corp. and held executive positions at CBS, 20th Century Fox and Seven Arts. From 1975 to 1980 he was president and chief executive officer of First Artists.
