Biography
Philip Buiser is a television writer and producer. He is credited as a writer on six episodes of the series Shameless (2011) between 2018 and 2021, and also served as producer, supervising producer and co-executive producer on 38 episodes of the show. His other television credits include writing episodes of Bates Motel (2013) and Preacher (2016), as well as story editor and executive story editor roles on Bates Motel.
Buiser graduated from the CBS Writers Mentoring Program. He holds a bachelor of arts in journalism from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a certificate in performance from the Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theater in New York. He was born Philip Generoso Buiser on 13 October 1978 in Greenville, Pennsylvania.
