Biography
Philippa Langdale is a British television director. She began directing in the late 1970s and early 1980s on series including Grange Hill, EastEnders, The Bill and Casualty. She later directed episodes of Pulling Moves and the television films The Vice (1999) and Lloyd & Hill (2001).
Her credits include multiple episodes of Waking the Dead (2004–2008), Skins (series 4 and 5, 2010–2011), Dates (2013), Dickensian (2015–2016), Class (2016), Harlots (2018), A Discovery of Witches (2021) and The Capture (2022). She has also directed episodes of Breathless, Starlings, Critical, Living the Dream and The Body Farm.
Recent and forthcoming work includes directing on Out There (2025) and Unchosen (2026).
