Biography
Phyllis MacBryde is an American actress, writer and director. She began her career as a theatre actor, appearing at Circle in the Square in New York, Arena Stage in Washington, D.C., on national tours and in summer stock productions.
Her film acting credit includes the role of Suburban Neighbor in The Adjustment Bureau (2011). She has also written and directed the short Zinzi the Musical (2009) and written for Branford Marsalis Steep (1988). In 1999 she was a finalist for the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences Nicholl Fellowship for her screenplay "Zinzi".
