Biography
Pia Aleborg is a Swedish costume designer, makeup artist and production designer. She graduated in 2001 from the jewellery art programme at Högskolan för design och konsthantverk in Gothenburg and began working in film in the mid-2000s.
She has designed costumes for several films directed by Ruben Östlund, including Involuntary (2008), Incident by a Bank (2010), Play (2011) and Force Majeure (2014). Other credits include The Giant (2016) and The Raft (2018). In 2017 she shared a Guldbagge Award for best makeup for The Giant; she was nominated for best costume for Play in 2012.
