Biography
Pierre David is a Canadian film producer and financier. Born in Montreal, he is known for his early work as executive producer on David Cronenberg films including The Brood (1979), Scanners (1981) and Videodrome (1983). He also served as production executive on Oliver Stone's Platoon (1986).
David has produced numerous independent films, primarily thrillers, such as Internal Affairs (1990), Deep Cover (1992), The Dentist (1996) and Wishmaster (1997). He co-founded Image Organization in 1987, a company focused on the thriller genre. He remains active as a producer.
