Biography
Pierre Leccia is a French screenwriter, actor and director. Born in Serra di Scopamène, Corsica, in 1962, he studied at the University of Nice before moving to Paris in 1985 to work as a screenwriter.
He has written extensively for television, contributing to series including Mafiosa (from season 2) and Guyane. His film writing credits include the screenplay for The Bridesmaid (2004). Leccia has also directed episodes of Mafiosa and appeared as an actor, notably as Sampierro in Jacques Audiard’s A Prophet (2009).
