Biography
Pierre-Yves Cardinal is a Canadian film and television actor from Quebec. Born on 24 July 1978, he is best known for his role as Francis in Xavier Dolan's Tom at the Farm (2014), for which he received a Canadian Screen Award nomination for Best Supporting Actor and won a Jutra Award for Best Supporting Actor.
He appeared as a security guard in Dolan's Mommy (2014) and has credits in films including Polytechnique (2009), A Kid (2016), Savage State (2020) and The Nature of Love (2023). His television work includes roles in 19-2, Les Jeunes loups and Letterkenny.
