Biography
Piers McGrail is an Irish cinematographer. He is a member of the Irish Society of Cinematographers and is represented by LUX Artists.
His credits include director of photography on the features The Canal (2014), Without Name (2016), Never Grow Old (2019), We Have Always Lived in the Castle (2019), Ordinary Love (2019), Calm with Horses (2020), Son (2021) and It Is in Us All (2022). He worked on the BBC miniseries Giri/Haji (2019) and the series Bodkin (2024).
McGrail has received IFTA nominations for cinematography and won the award for It Is in Us All.
