Biography
Pilar Castro Parrilla is a Spanish actress. She was born on 12 October 1970 in Madrid. She began her career as a dancer, appearing on the Televisión Española programme Aplauso, before training at the acting school run by Cristina Rota.
Castro has worked in film, television and theatre. Her film credits include Gordos (2009), for which she received a Goya Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress, Julieta (2016) as Claudia, Ventajas de viajar en tren (2019), Competencia oficial (2021) and Cerdita (2022). On television she has appeared in series such as Al salir de clase (2000–2001), Vivir sin permiso (2018–2020) and the Through My Window films (2022–2024) as Tere.
