Biography
Polly Moran, born Pauline Theresa Moran, was an American actress and comedian of vaudeville, stage and screen.
She began her career in vaudeville and joined Mack Sennett's Keystone Studios in 1915, appearing in many short comedies. She later moved to MGM and frequently partnered with Marie Dressler in films including The Callahans and the Murphys (1927), Chasing Rainbows (1930), Caught Short (1930) and Prosperity (1932).
Her later work included supporting and uncredited roles such as Mrs. McGrath in Adam's Rib (1949) and Landlady/Servant in Audience in The Unknown (1927). She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
