Biography
Pooky Quesnel, also credited as Joanna Quesnel, is an English actress, screenwriter and singer. Born in Eccles, Greater Manchester, she read English at Oxford University and trained at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts.
Quesnel began her career in theatre, appearing with the National Theatre and Shared Experience. On television she has played roles including Dr. Jenny Northam in Top Boy (2011), Sarah Pocket in Great Expectations (2012), Muriel Todd in Endeavour (2013) and Louise Wilson in The A Word. She has also written episodes for Doctors and Casualty.
