Biography
Posy Sterling is a British stage, television and film actress. She trained at the Italia Conti Academy of Theatre Arts and began her career in theatre before moving into screen roles.
She appeared as Rita in the 2024 film The Outrun and as Eileen in the 2023 series World on Fire. Sterling was named one of Screen International’s Stars of Tomorrow in 2023. Her performance as Molly Brown in the 2024 film Lollipop earned her the British Independent Film Award for Breakthrough Performance and a nomination for the BAFTA Rising Star Award.
Her theatre credits include productions at the National Theatre and the Donmar Warehouse, such as Dixon and Daughters and The Cherry Orchard, the latter of which transferred to New York.
