Biography
Preston L. Holmes is an American film producer and production manager. He attended Princeton University and completed the Directors Guild of America East assistant director training programme, after which he worked in commercial production in New York before moving into feature films as a production manager.
His early credits include production supervisor on Spike Lee’s Do the Right Thing (1989) and Jungle Fever (1991), and co-producer on Malcolm X (1992). He produced Posse (1993), Juice (1992), Waist Deep (2006) and She Hate Me (2004), and served as executive producer on Girls Trip (2017), Night School (2018), Little (2019), Till (2022) and Praise This (2023).
