Biography
Prudhviraj, also credited as Prudhvi Raj, is an Indian actor and politician known for his work in Telugu cinema. Born Balireddy Prudhviraj on 6 August 1964 in Tadepalligudem, West Godavari District, Andhra Pradesh, he holds an M.A. from Andhra University.
He began his film career in the early 1990s, debuting in Aa Okkati Adakku (1992). He has appeared in over 100 films, often in comedic or character roles. He gained wide recognition for his dialogue "30 Years Industry ikkada" in Krishna Vamsi's Khadgam (2002). Among his later credits is the role of an official in the Kunthala Kingdom in Bāhubali 2: The Conclusion (2017).
Prudhviraj has also been active in politics, serving as state secretary for the YSR Congress Party and later joining the Jana Sena Party. He briefly chaired the Sri Venkateswara Bhakti Channel (SVBC) television network.
