Biography
Qin Yan, also credited as Yan Qin, is a Chinese actor. He appeared as the Prime Minister in Hero (2002).
He is also known for roles in Joy of Life (2019) as Eunuch Dai and The Knockout (2023) as He Liming, as well as earlier films including Detective Dee: Mystery of the Phantom Flame (2010) and Dragon (2011). He trained and performed with the China Railway Art Troupe and received the Second China Theatre Revitalization Award and the Fifth China Theatre Golden Lion Award.
Qin Yan was born in Beijing and died on 10 August 2026.
