Biography
Quincy Jones III, also known as QDIII or QD3, is a music producer, composer and documentary producer. Born in London in 1968, he is the son of musician Quincy Jones and Swedish model Ulla Andersson, and was raised in Sweden.
He founded QD3 Entertainment and has produced the Beef documentary series on hip-hop feuds. Jones has composed scores for films including Menace II Society (1993), Thicker than Water (1999) and Pootie Tang (2001), and for television series such as The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and In the House. He released the album Soundlab in 1991 and has produced tracks for artists including Ice Cube and Tupac Shakur.
