Biography
Qutaiba Barhamji is a film editor, director and writer. Born in Damascus, Syria, he grew up between the Syrian suburbs and Russia, where he studied medicine, before moving to Paris in 2005 to study film at ESEC.
As an editor he has worked on more than fifty films in multiple languages. His credits include Four Daughters (2023), Smoke Sauna Sisterhood (2023) and The Voice of Hind Rajab (2025), the latter two directed by Kaouther Ben Hania. He has also directed the documentary Gevar's Land (2020) and the short film Wardé (2016).
