Biography
R. J. Adams, also credited as R.J. Adams and known in radio as Bob Shannon, was a Canadian-American actor, acting coach, screenwriter, producer and radio personality. He was born Robert Lee Adams on 20 September 1942 in St. Catharines, Ontario, Canada, and died on 26 January 2015 in Coatesville, Pennsylvania.
Adams appeared in films including Rocky IV (1985) as Sports Announcer and Looking for Mr. Goodbar (1977), and in television series such as Murder, She Wrote. He founded The Actors Workshop in Southern California and worked as a radio personality in multiple US markets.
