Biography
Rachael Abigail Holder is an American filmmaker, director, producer and screenwriter. Born and raised on Long Island, New York, to Guyanese immigrants, she holds a BA from Fordham University and an MFA in playwriting from NYU Tisch School of the Arts.
She created, wrote and directed the web series I Love Bekka & Lucy (2017). Holder has directed episodes of the television series Dickinson (2019), Amber Brown, Run the World, Everything’s Gonna Be Okay, Love Is and Florida Girls. Her feature directorial debut, Love, Brooklyn (2025), premiered at the Sundance Film Festival.
