Biography
Rachel Adedeji is a Nigerian-British singer and actress. She was born on 22 August 1991 in Barking, London.
Adedeji first came to prominence as a contestant on the fifth and sixth series of The X Factor in 2008 and 2009. She later appeared as Lisa Loveday in the Channel 4 soap opera Hollyoaks from 2016 to 2020. Her other television credits include Dreaming Whilst Black (2023–) as Funmi, Champion (2023), Alice & Jack (2023–2024), Whitstable Pearl (2021), and Death in Paradise (2024). She has also worked in film, including R.I.P.D. 2: Rise of the Damned (2022), and on stage in productions such as Hadestown.
Adedeji is also credited as Rachel Adedji.
