Bilson grew up in a California show-business family. She made her television debut in 2003 and became known for playing Summer Roberts on the series The O.C. (2003–2007).
Her film roles include The Last Kiss (2006) and Jumper (2008). She appeared as Lou Palone on the series Chuck (2007).
