Biography
Raffertie, born Benjamin Stefanski on 17 April 1987 in Bognor Regis, England, is a British composer and producer based in London. He studied Classical & Contemporary Music Composition at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire, graduating in 2010.
He first gained recognition as an electronic music artist and DJ, releasing on labels including Planet Mu and Ninja Tune. From around 2014 he began scoring for film and television, with credits including the series Alex Rider (2020) and The Continental: From the World of John Wick (2023), and the films Zone 414 (2021), Bull (2021) and One Way (2022).
His score for the 2024 film The Substance earned him an Ivor Novello Award for Best Original Film Score.
