Biography

Rajeev Ravi is an Indian cinematographer, director and producer from Kochi, Kerala. He graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune, in 1997 and began his career assisting on the Malayalam film Pranayavarnangal (1998). His first credit as cinematographer was Chandni Bar (2001).

He has worked frequently with director Anurag Kashyap on films including Dev.D (2009) and Gangs of Wasseypur - Part 1 (2012). He provided additional cinematography on Andhadhun (2018). Ravi received the National Film Award for Best Cinematography for Liar's Dice (2013). He made his directorial debut with the Malayalam film Annayum Rasoolum (2013).

Ravi married actress and director Geetu Mohandas in 2009.
