Biography
Rakesh Varre is an Indian actor and producer who works primarily in Telugu cinema. He is known for playing Sethupathi in Baahubali: The Beginning (2015) and Baahubali 2: The Conclusion (2017). His other acting credits include Mohammad Basha in Goodachari (2018), a lead role as Hari in Evvarikee Cheppoddu (2019), and appearances in Jai Lava Kusa (2017) and Mirchi (2013).
Varre began his career with small roles, including in Josh (2009) and Badrinath (2011). He studied filmmaking for a year at the New York Film Academy. He made his lead acting debut and produced Evvarikee Cheppoddu under his banner Crazy Ants Productions. He has also produced Pekamedalu (2024).
