Biography

Ralf Moeller is a German actor and former competitive bodybuilder. Born Ralf Rudolf Möller on 12 January 1959 in Recklinghausen, he began bodybuilding at the age of 17 and became German champion in 1984. He won the heavyweight class at the 1986 IFBB World Championships and competed in the Mr Olympia. Moeller retired from competition in 1991 to focus on acting.

He made his screen debut in 1988 and appeared in films including Cyborg (1989) as Brick Bardo and Universal Soldier (1992). His mainstream roles include Hagen in Ridley Scott's Gladiator (2000), Thorak in The Scorpion King (2002), and Ulfar in Pathfinder (2007). He also starred as the title character in the television series Conan the Adventurer (1997–1998). Moeller holds German and American citizenship.
