Biography
Ralph Wheelwright (1898–1971) was an American screenwriter and producer. Born in Brooklyn, New York, he began his career as a journalist before moving into film publicity at Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer in the 1920s and 1930s. He joined the studio's writing department in 1943.
Wheelwright received story credit on Blossoms in the Dust (1941). He later wrote the story for Man of a Thousand Faces (1957) and contributed to other films including Thunder Afloat (1939) and These Wilder Years (1956). He also produced Two Smart People (1946) and Tenth Avenue Angel (1948).
