Biography
Ralph Yearsley (6 October 1896 – 4 December 1928) was a British-born character actor who worked in Hollywood silent films.
Born in London, he trained in a medical school before moving to the United States to pursue a career in film. He made his screen debut in 1921 in Pardon My French and appeared the same year as Saul 'Little Buzzard' Hatburn in Tol'able David. Over the following years he took secondary and minor roles in around twenty films, including Anna Christie (1923), Peter Pan (1924) and The Kid Brother (1927), in which he played Hank Hooper.
Yearsley died by suicide in Hollywood, California, at the age of 32 and was buried in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
