Biography
Rand Brooks, born Arlington Rand Brooks Jr., was an American film and television actor. He was born on 21 September 1918 in Wright City, Missouri, and died on 1 September 2003 in Santa Ynez, California.
After a screen test at MGM, Brooks appeared in bit parts including Love Finds Andy Hardy (1938). He played Jeff Steele in Babes in Arms (1939) and Charles Hamilton in Gone with the Wind (1939). In the mid-1940s he took the role of Lucky Jenkins in the Hopalong Cassidy western film series.
Brooks appeared in numerous television series from the 1950s onwards, including The Adventures of Rin Tin Tin. He later founded and ran a private ambulance service in California before retiring to a ranch.
