Biography
Randal Herley (1923–2013) was a British actor. He was born in Dewsbury, Yorkshire, and died in Manchester on 14 April 2013.
Herley appeared in numerous British television series from the 1970s onwards. He played Elliott in the 1985 BBC series Edge of Darkness, Mr. Mumford in The New Statesman (1987) and Mr. Coates in All Creatures Great and Small (1978). He had a recurring role as the Clerk of Court in Crown Court (1972) across more than twenty episodes and guest roles in series including Heartbeat, Coronation Street and Poirot.
He was married to Marjorie H. Grainger and was the uncle of actors Kazia Pelka and Valentine Pelka.
