Biography
Randall Dale Adams was an American man who appeared as himself in the 1988 documentary film The Thin Blue Line, directed by Errol Morris. The film examined his wrongful conviction for the 1976 murder of a Dallas police officer, for which he had been sentenced to death in Texas.
Adams was released from prison in March 1989 after the conviction was overturned. He subsequently campaigned against the death penalty. He died on 30 October 2010 in Washington Court House, Ohio.
