Biography
Randy Huggins is an American television writer and producer. Born on 22 February 1972 in Detroit, Michigan, he began his career as a writer's assistant on the FX series The Shield (2002–2005), later receiving a story credit on the season four episode "Cut Throat".
He subsequently wrote for The Unit (2006), Trauma (2009), Criminal Minds (2010–2011, also as producer), Prime Suspect (2011), Power (2014–2016) and Star (2018–2019). Huggins created, wrote and served as showrunner and executive producer on the Starz series BMF (2021–2025). He has also worked as executive producer on Rebel (2017) and as teleplay writer on Power Book II: Ghost (2021).
Huggins is a graduate of Grambling State University.
