Biography
Raphaël Minnesota is a French cinematographer and filmmaker. He is credited as one of the directors of photography on the 2017 documentary Faces Places (original title Visages Villages), directed by Agnès Varda and JR.
Minnesota has also directed making-of films documenting the restoration of classic French cinema, including works on Une chambre en ville and Les Parapluies de Cherbourg. His real name is Raphaël Girault.
