Biography
Ras-Samuel Welda'abzgi is an Ethiopian-Australian actor, writer and producer, also credited as Ras-Samuel, Sami Obama and Sammi Obamah. Born in Ethiopia on 20 February 1997, he began his career in Australian television and short films.
He is known for playing Lightning in Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes (2024). Other credits include Kyler in Woody Woodpecker Goes to Camp (2024) and Mo in the television series The Clearing (2023). He has appeared in episodes of Fisk and various short films, and works as a writer and producer on independent projects.
