Biography

Ray Chan (1967–2024) was a British art director and production designer. He studied graphic design at Liverpool School of Art and completed a postgraduate programme at Kingston School of Art.

Chan worked extensively with Marvel Studios, beginning as supervising art director on Thor: The Dark World (2013). He held the same role on Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Doctor Strange (2016), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019). As production designer his credits include the Disney+ series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier (2021), Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves (2023) and Deadpool & Wolverine (2024). He received Art Directors Guild awards for Guardians of the Galaxy and Avengers: Endgame.
